Sterling Silver Pendants
Following are illustrations of our current pendant designs with descriptions, origin and price information. All pendants are cut by hand using a scroll saw with very fine metal peircing saw blades. Accuracy of the cut is approximated at plus or minus .005" (5/1000"). Pendants are made from 18g Sterling Silver sheet material, (about the thickness of a dime).
Many of our pendant designs are entirely original. Some are from public domain and altered appropriately for use as pierced work pendants. After cutting, each piece is deburred by sanding and then sanded further through 12,000 grit sandpaper (about 1 micron). It is then rinsed and brushed with mineral spirits to remove the small particles resulting from sanding. Each is then tumbled in a mixture of stainless steel shot and soap water to achieve a final polish. After rinsing and drying, each piece is "signed" on the back, in an inconspicuous place, with a "KD" stamp. You'll be proud to own one of our pieces. We've taken great care to make sure you are well satisfied. (And if for any reason you are not satisfied, contact us and tell us within 30 days. We will replace the piece at no expense, or we will refund your money.)
Because of demand for some of our finer pieces in gold, we have cut certain pendants and earrings from 18g(uage) and 22g gold, respectively, of 18k(arat) purity. These pieces, although considerably more expensive than the same pieces in Sterling Silver, are very elegant. We number each gold piece consecutively. We do not keep pieces cut from gold in stock and they must therefore be special ordered. Order information and pricing is available by contacting us directly. As you scroll through the illustrations below you might notice that all the pendants seem to be about the same size. They are not. For this reason we have noted the size of each pendant in the description column. It's important to pay attention to this.
